Meet Astrologer Sudha Wadhwa Bedi, a remarkable individual whose journey is nothing short of inspirational. From a young age, she exhibited exceptional intelligence and leadership qualities, setting the stage for her remarkable academic achievements. Graduating with honours in Mathematics from Hansraj College in 1982, she defied stereotypes by excelling in a field where women were scarce.
Her thirst for knowledge led her to pursue a subject even more unconventional for women at the time – Operational Research. Undeterred by societal norms, she secured the second rank in the university, surpassing both male and female peers.
But Sudha is more than just an academic achiever; she is a leader and a compassionate soul. Leading the college NSS and driving social work initiatives in rural areas, she earned recognition, including the prestigious Gandhi Doot Medal.
However, her journey took an unexpected turn when faced with the delay in her marriage. Driven by curiosity, she delved into the realm of astrology, seeking scientific explanations. Starting her journey in 1988 with Jyotish Visharad from ICAS, she immersed herself in the study of horoscopes, tirelessly honing her skills. Whether waiting at a bus stop or in any spare moment, she would analyse horoscopes, showcasing her unwavering dedication.
